Ah, one of the really cool wild plants...it grows outside of the Black Hills in surrounding areas, like the Badlands, in SD. Nice that you took note!

It is called Snow-on-the Mountain (just read the post title). I found this in the Loess Hills of western Iowa. Thanks for adding my blog to your blogroll.
